THOUGH they didn't win the clash with St Kilda, Collingwood has walked away with the Toyota AFL Mark and Goal of the Year winners of the semi-final round.

Youngsters John Anthony and Tyson Goldsack earned the all-important votes from the fans for their respective efforts, and are now in the running for a host of great prizes.

So too are the new nominees, short-listed from last weekend's two preliminary finals.

Marks
Nick Riewoldt (St Kilda)
– marked strongly on the lead between Hawthorn defenders Trent Croad and Stephen Gilham
Lance Franklin (Hawthorn) – leapt for a high ball sent inside 50, juggling the mark on his way down
Will Minson (Western Bulldogs) – pulled in a strong grab on the lead, leaving Geelong ruckman Brad Ottens in his wake

Goals
Shane Crawford (Hawthorn)
– collected a ball knocked to space by teammate Michael Osborne, before threading a goal on a tight angle from the right forward pocket
Jason Akermanis (Western Bulldogs) – crumbed over the back of a marking contest to curl the ball through off his left boot
Jarryd Roughead (Hawthorn) – plucked the ball from the ruck tap for a high snap deep in attack

Voting is open until Sunday with fans able to view this week's nominees here.

In 2008, the winners of the Toyota AFL Mark and Goal of the Year award will each receive:
- The use of a TRD Aurion for 12 months, presented by Toyota
- $5000 for their grassroots club, presented by Toyota
- A crystal replica of the official perpetual Toyota AFL Mark and Goal of the Year trophies
- The Alex Jesaulenko Medal (goal) and Phil Manassa Medal (goal)

The AFL All-Australian selection committee will decide the overall winner from the weekly winners.
